Teaching

I teach at the Department of Communications of the University of Žilina, in the Electronic Commerce and Management study programme.

This page does not replace Moodle or the university information system. It is more of an answer to the question “what do you actually teach?” for people who are not my students.

Alongside seminars, I supervise and examine bachelor’s and master’s theses. The topics we work on with students revolve around the digital economy — investing and its costs, payment methods in e-shops, artificial intelligence in education, data analysis, and comparisons of digital platforms.

My expectations for a thesis are simple:

  • a concrete analytical problem instead of a broad topic,
  • a methodology that makes sense and can be repeated,
  • a comparison of options rather than a description of just one,
  • a measurable result and a clearly stated practical contribution.

If any of these areas interest you, get in touch — ideally before you settle on a topic.

Web Design and Development

A course for students of electronic commerce, not for programmers. Over one semester a student designs their own project, then builds the site from that design with the help of AI, deploys it and presents it.
