Registers and portals for Slovak higher education that the University of Žilina develops and runs for the Ministry of Education. Every university in Slovakia uses them — and so has everyone who ever applied to one.
CRŠ — Central Register of Students
Period: since 2009
A single record of every student at a Slovak university. Universities feed it with data, the ministry draws its statistics from it and allocates funding by it.
My role: I lead the University of Žilina team that develops and runs the register for the Ministry of Education.
CRZ — Central Register of Employees
Period: since 2010
The register of university teachers, researchers and artists — their positions, programme guarantees and qualifications. Its public part, regzam, shows who teaches where. It holds more than thirty thousand people.

RVŠ — Register of Higher Education Institutions
Period: since 2023
The register of higher education institutions, under which sit the register of fields of study, the register of study programmes and the register of habilitation and inauguration proceedings — one source on which institutions exist, which fields and programmes they offer and who qualified where as associate or full professor. The public listing of habilitations and inaugurations on Portál VŠ can be filtered by field, institution and faculty.

Scholarships — the Talent Scholarship
Period: since 2022
The Ministry of Education's system for the Talent Scholarship — support for students at Slovak universities worth 400 euros a month. It covers the whole path from application through selection to the decision and the school's confirmation of enrolment, including the documents for paying out the money and reporting.
My role: I lead the University of Žilina team that develops and runs the system for the Ministry of Education.
eKEGA — administration of KEGA grants and development projects
Period: since 2013
The system through which Slovak universities submit and manage projects of the Ministry of Education's Cultural and Educational Grant Agency, along with development projects. It covers the whole life of a project — from the call through submission, rapporteur evaluation and budget tracking to the final report. The public part offers an overview of funded projects and statistics.
My role: I lead the University of Žilina team that develops and runs the system for the Ministry of Education.
Mobility — government scholarships and international mobility
Period: since 2010
The Ministry of Education's systems for international mobility — the Government Scholarships of the Slovak Republic that bring foreign students to Slovak universities, the selection of lecturers of Slovak language and culture for universities abroad, and records of the stays the ministry organises. Most of it runs out of public view, only the entry gates are visible.
My role: I lead the University of Žilina team that develops and runs the systems for the Ministry of Education.
Prihláška VŠ — the electronic university application
Period: since 2011 Collaboration
One electronic application for several universities at once. Applicants fill in a profile once, their secondary-school results are pulled in from the online grade book and they follow the status of the application online. You can even sign in with your ID card.
My role: I contribute to the development of the application system.
Portál VŠ — the higher education portal
Period: since 2005 Collaboration
The central place for information about Slovak universities — some forty institutions and more than five thousand study programmes in one place, plus the application, scholarships and registers. It was founded in 2005 on a proposal of the EUNIS-SK association with the ministry's support. The University of Žilina was among the universities that built it.
My role: I contribute to the portal's development, it is led by the team of the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra.
studyabroad.sk — Erasmus mobility
Period: 2008 – 2025 Completed
A system for study stays and internships abroad, through which students and their Erasmus paperwork passed. It started as a ministry project and was a big one for its time. Today a private company runs it under the same address for a handful of universities and I no longer have anything to do with it.
My role: I built the whole project as its manager — from the brief to operation.
